A few years ago, I started practicing the carnivore diet on and off, and it has revealed a lot of eye-opening things about weight loss, digestion, health, and mental focus that surprised me. So, if you’re intrigued about digging into a nice juicy rib-eye for breakfast, then sit tight and start getting excited as we answer your question - what is the carnivore diet? QUICK SUMMARY The carnivore diet is a dietary regimen that involves consuming only animal products, while excluding all plant-based foods. The diet emphasizes eating meat, organ meat, eggs, and some dairy products, with no restrictions on quantities. It may lead to weight loss, improved heart health, reduced inflammation, and fewer digestive problems. 1. What To Eat If it was alive and contained protein and fat, then it probably passes the carnivore diet test. For the most part, this will be a food list of red meat and other meat products, but adding some dairy products is also allowed when you're on an all-meat diet. The list of things not allowed is a lot longer, and we’ll get to that shortly. If your document is set entirely with a single language [such as English (US)], turn on spell check and zoom out so you can see the red squiggly lines but not read the words. Draft view zoomed out to 50% will display a lot of content at once without the overhead of page layout. This will let you scan through to find clusters of red squiggly underlines that are most likely to be your foreign sentences. Use Ctrl-Roll to zoom in and out to examine any such instances as you review the document. Tip: Set up a custom character style for the foreign language so you can apply it to all found instances. For example, my custom style named charSpanish is set with Language=Spanish and Font color=Green. When applied to Spanish text, the spell check will use my Spanish dictionary and the text will be displayed in Green for easier recognition during editing and proofreading. When I need to print the final, I just change the style definition to use Font color=Automatic (but the language can stay as Spanish). View full entry
